Car
If you are traveling by car, first make your way to the town of Syabrubesi. From Kathmandu, you can take a tourist bus or hire a private vehicle to reach Syabrubesi, which typically takes around 8-10 hours. Ensure you have enough cash, as ATMs may not be readily available. Once in Syabrubesi, follow the main road heading north towards Langtang National Park. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach a fork; take the left road towards Golche. Continue on this road for about an hour until you arrive at Golche. Park your vehicle there, as this is the closest point to Gole Pokhari.
Public Transportation
To reach Gole Pokhari using public transportation, take a local bus or a shared jeep from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The journey will take around 8-10 hours. Once you arrive in Syabrubesi, you can either walk or hire a local guide to assist you. The trek to Golche will take approximately 2-3 hours on foot. The trail is well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions if you get lost. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry sufficient water and snacks for the walk.
Trekking
After reaching Golche, Gole Pokhari is accessible via a short trek. From Golche, take the trail that leads uphill towards Gole Pokhari. The trek will take about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. The path is scenic but can be steep in some areas, so take your time and enjoy the surroundings. Make sure to bring a camera, as the views are breathtaking. Once you reach Gole Pokhari, take the time to explore and enjoy the tranquil environment.
