If you are in the center of Patan, start at Patan Durbar Square. From the square, exit towards the main road, and head north onto the Lalitpur Road (also known as Pulchowk Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass various shops and eateries along the way. Keep walking until you reach the junction where you see signs for Swayambhu. Turn left at the junction and continue on this road for about 500 meters until you reach a large staircase leading up to the Maha Manjushree Temple.

From the center of Patan, you can take a local bus heading towards Swayambhu. Board the bus from the nearest bus stop, ensuring it is marked for Swayambhu. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Swayambhu bus stop, disembark and walk up the steps that lead to the Maha Manjushree Temple, which is visible from the bus stop.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Patan. Start from Patan Durbar Square, cycling north on Lalitpur Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
