Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Mangal Bazar). Turn left onto Mangal Bazar and continue straight until you reach the traffic light at the crossroad. Cross the road and continue on Pulchowk Road heading north. After about 1 km, you will reach the junction where you can see the Swayambhu Buddha Park signs. Follow the signs to Swayambhu and the park entrance will be on your right.

  • Walking

    From the Patan Museum, exit and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you see the gate of the Patan Industrial Area. Continue straight until you reach a T-junction, then turn right onto the Ring Road. Walk along the Ring Road for about 1.5 km, and you will find Swayambhu Buddha Park on your left. Look for the entrance marked with park signage.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Patan, head to the nearest bus stop at Mangal Bazar. Look for a local bus heading towards Swayambhu or Kathmandu. Board the bus and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Swayambhu bus stop. Once you get off, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Swayambhu Buddha Park.

  • Cycling

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from Patan Durbar Square and cycle east towards Mangal Bazar. Once at Mangal Bazar, turn left and follow the main road straight towards Pulchowk. Continue cycling straight for about 1 km. When you reach the junction, look for the signs directing you to Swayambhu. The park entrance will be on your right after a short ride.
