From Mahabouddha Temple, exit the temple premises and turn right onto the main road. Walk along the road for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with the main street. At this intersection, take a left turn. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, keeping an eye out for local shops and street vendors along the way. You will soon see the Mahabouddha Stupa ahead on your left.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from nearby rental shops in Patan. From Mahabouddha Temple, head out to the main road and turn right. Cycle straight for about 5 minutes, then take a left at the intersection. Continue cycling for about 10 minutes. The Mahabouddha Stupa will be visible on your left. Ensure you follow the local traffic rules and be cautious of pedestrians.

Public Transport (local bus or microbus)
Although you are close to your destination, if you wish to explore more of the area, you can take a local microbus. From Mahabouddha Temple, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is about a 5-minute walk straight down the main road. Board a microbus that has 'Patan' indicated on the front. Ride for about 5 minutes, and then alight at the nearest stop to Mahabouddha Stupa. From there, it will be a short 5-minute walk back to the stupa itself.
