Getting There

Walking
From Lakeside, head east along the main road (Lake Side Road) towards the Pokhara Airport. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection at the airport. At the intersection, take the left turn onto the road leading towards Lekhnath. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Continue straight until you see signs for Begnas Lake, which will be on your right. The lake is a popular spot, and you should be able to spot the entrance easily.

Public Transport (Local Bus)
From Lakeside, walk to the main bus station located near the tourist center. Look for buses heading towards Lekhnath or Begnas Lake. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lekhnath, ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Begnas Lake. After getting off, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach the lake. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Lakeside. Once you have your bike, head out of Lakeside on the main road towards the airport. Continue on the same road for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left towards Lekhnath. The distance to Begnas Lake is around 6 kilometers from here.
