Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Lakeside, head towards the main road, known as 'Pokhara- Kathmandu Road'. Walk towards the north until you reach the intersection at Chhorepatan. From there, take a right turn onto the road leading to Chhorepatan. Follow the road for about 15 minutes until you see a sign for Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave on your left. The cave entrance will be a short walk uphill from the road.

  • Local Bus

    From Lakeside, you can take a local bus heading towards Baglung or Chhorepatan. Board the bus at the Lakeside bus stop. Once you reach Chhorepatan, get off at the stop nearest to the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave sign. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance, which is up a small hill.

  • Cycle

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Lakeside. Cycle towards the Pokhara-Kathmandu Road and head north. After about 10 minutes, turn right into Chhorepatan. Follow the road until you see the sign for Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave on your left. Park your bicycle at the bottom of the hill and walk up to the cave entrance.
