Getting There

Walking
From the center of Pokhara (Lake Side area), head northeast towards the Baglung Rajmarg highway. You can start at the Phewa Lake and walk towards the main road. Once you reach the highway, turn left and continue walking along the Baglung Rajmarg for about 4.5 kilometers. You will pass various local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Hemja. When you reach the Hemja area, look for a sign pointing toward Jangchub Choeling Monastery.

Local Transport (Bike or Scooter rental)
If you prefer a faster route, rent a bicycle or scooter from one of the rental shops in the Lake Side area of Pokhara. Head towards the Baglung Rajmarg highway and turn left. Continue straight for about 4.5 kilometers. As you approach Hemja, look for signs that will direct you to Jangchub Choeling Monastery. Parking is available near the monastery.

Hiking
For a more adventurous route, consider hiking from Pokhara to Jangchub Choeling Monastery. Start from Lakeside and ascend towards the hills. Follow any of the local trails leading eastward, which will eventually connect to the Baglung Rajmarg highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left and walk for about 4.5 kilometers until you reach Hemja. From there, signs will guide you to the monastery. This route offers beautiful views of the valley and surrounding hills.
