Getting There

Walking
From Lakeside, head southeast on the main road (Sedi Khola). Walk towards the Pame area, which is about 7 kilometers from Lakeside. Follow the road signs that point towards Rupa Lake. As you approach Pame, you will see a fork in the road; keep to the left to continue towards Rupa Lake. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a small village where you can ask locals for further directions if needed. Continue walking, and you will eventually see the beautiful Rupa Lake on your right.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Lakeside. Start by cycling southeast towards the Pame area, following the main road (Sedi Khola). The distance is approximately 7 kilometers. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you will encounter a fork in the road; take the left path towards Rupa Lake. The ride is pleasant and scenic, passing through local villages. Once you arrive at Rupa Lake, you can park your bicycle at designated spots available near the lake.

For an adventurous route, start your hike from the Lakeside area. Head southeast towards the Pame region via the main road. After about 4 kilometers, you can divert onto a trail that leads through lush hills and local farms. This trail takes longer but offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After about 1.5 to 2 hours of hiking, you will connect back to the main road leading to Rupa Lake. Follow this road until you reach the lake.
