If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the nearest major highway, N356, which connects to Schiermonnikoog. Follow the N356 until you reach the ferry terminal at Lauwersoog. There, you will need to take a ferry to Schiermonnikoog, which is the only way to access the island by vehicle. The ferry ride takes approximately 45 minutes and tickets can be purchased at the terminal or online. Once you arrive at Schiermonnikoog, follow the signs to Vuurtorenpad. The North Tower is located at Vuurtorenpad 28, 9166 RW Schiermonnikoog. Parking is available near the ferry terminal.

To reach the North Tower using public transportation, start your journey by taking a train to the nearest major station, either in Groningen or Leeuwarden. From there, take a bus to Lauwersoog.
