If you are starting from the central train station (Groningen Centraal), exit the station and head south on Stationsweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Westerhaven. Turn left onto Westerhaven and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the large square called Grote Markt. From there, you will see the impressive Martinitoren tower. Head towards the tower and to the right, you will find the Nieuwe Kerk on Nieuwe Kerkhof, just a few minutes away.

From the central train station (Groningen Centraal), you can take bus line 3 or 5 towards 'Zernike' or 'Haren'. Get off at the stop 'Grote Markt'.
