Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kinderdijk, head south on the N214 road. Continue straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N3 road and follow it for approximately 2 kilometers. Take the exit towards Dordrecht and merge onto the N217. Continue for about 3 kilometers, then take the exit toward the city center. Follow the signs to Engelenburgerbrug, which will be on your left as you approach the historical center of Dordrecht. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of potential parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Engelenburgerbrug by public transport, start by walking to the nearest bus stop in Kinderdijk. Catch the bus towards Dordrecht, which usually departs every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dordrecht bus station, transfer to tram line 1 towards Sliedrecht Boven-Hardinxveld. Get off at the 'Engelenburgerbrug' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the bridge. Keep in mind that tram tickets cost approximately €3.00.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Kinderdijk and take the scenic route towards Dordrecht. Follow the bike path along the river for about 6 kilometers. This route offers beautiful views of the water and windmills. Once you arrive in Dordrecht, follow the signs to the historical center. Engelenburgerbrug will be located near the waterfront, and it’s a great spot to take photos. Remember to bring a lock for your bike.
