    Start at Maastricht Central Station. Take the train towards Heerlen. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next available departure. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Landgraaf station. From Landgraaf station, exit and take bus line 5 towards Kerkrade. This bus will take you directly to the stop 'Slot Schaesberg', which is located near the castle. The total public transport journey will take approximately 50-60 minutes.

    If you prefer to walk from Landgraaf station to Schaesberg Castle, exit the station and head southeast on Spoorlaan. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Slot Schaesberg-Laan. Follow this road for about 1.5 km, and you will arrive at Schaesberg Castle on your left.
