From there, walk south on Kerkstraat for about 5 minutes to reach the Old Hickory brug at Kerkstraat 31.

Upon arriving at Valkenburg station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road. Continue straight until you reach Kerkstraat, and then turn right. Walk along Kerkstraat for about 10 minutes to reach the Old Hickory brug at Kerkstraat 31.

If you are starting from the center of Maastricht, you can walk to Valkenburg, which is around 8 km away. Head southeast on the Meerssenerweg, continue to follow the signs towards Valkenburg. Once in Valkenburg, follow the main road until you reach Kerkstraat, then turn left. The Old Hickory brug will be on your right at Kerkstraat 31. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
