    From Maastricht city center, head to the bus station located at Stationstraat. Take bus line 57 towards Valkenburg. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Valkenburg Centrum stop. From there, walk south on Kerkstraat for about 5 minutes to reach the Old Hickory brug at Kerkstraat 31.

    Make your way to Maastricht train station. From there, take a train to Valkenburg. The train ride lasts about 10 minutes. Upon arriving at Valkenburg station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road. Continue straight until you reach Kerkstraat, and then turn right. Walk along Kerkstraat for about 10 minutes to reach the Old Hickory brug at Kerkstraat 31.

    Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Maastricht, you can walk to Valkenburg, which is around 8 km away. Head southeast on the Meerssenerweg, continue to follow the signs towards Valkenburg. Once in Valkenburg, follow the main road until you reach Kerkstraat, then turn left. The Old Hickory brug will be on your right at Kerkstraat 31. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

    Bicycle

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Maastricht. Start from the city center and head towards the south following the cycling paths. The ride to Valkenburg is about 8 km, taking around 30 minutes. Once in Valkenburg, navigate to Kerkstraat, and you will find the Old Hickory brug at number 31.
