Car
If you're driving from Scheveningen Beach, head northeast on the main road, Zwarte Pad. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with the N440. Merge onto N440, following signs for The Hague. After about 4 km, take the exit towards A4/E19, and merge onto A4. Stay on A4 for around 27 km, then take the exit towards N206 in the direction of Leiden. Follow the N206 until you reach Leiden. In Leiden, follow signs to Groenhazengracht. There should be parking available nearby, but be sure to check local parking regulations to avoid fines.

Public Transportation
To reach Doelenpoort using public transport, start at the Scheveningen Beach tram station. Take tram line 1 towards The Hague Central Station. At The Hague Central, transfer to train IC (InterCity) towards Leiden. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop. Take bus line 43 towards 'Leiden, Merenwijk' and get off at the stop 'Groenhazengracht'. From there, Doelenpoort is just a short 5-minute walk. Follow Groenhazengracht street, and you will find Doelenpoort ahead.
