If you're driving from Scheveningen Beach, head northeast on the main road, Zwarte Pad. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with the N440. Merge onto N440, following signs for The Hague. After about 4 km, take the exit towards A4/E19, and merge onto A4. Stay on A4 for around 27 km, then take the exit towards N206 in the direction of Leiden. Follow the N206 until you reach Leiden. In Leiden, follow signs to Groenhazengracht. To reach Doelenpoort using public transport, start at the Scheveningen Beach tram station. Take tram line 1 towards The Hague Central Station.
