Car
If you are traveling by car, the Schapenmuseum Texel is located at Hoornderweg 29, 1791 PM in Den Burg. From any location on Texel Island, simply navigate towards Den Burg. Use the main roads (N501 or N502) to reach Den Burg, and then follow the signs to Hoornderweg. Once you arrive at Hoornderweg, look for the museum which will be on your right. There is parking available near the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach Schapenmuseum Texel using public transportation, you can take a local bus to Den Burg. Check the bus schedule for routes that connect to Den Burg from other parts of the island. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Den Burg, it is a short walk to Hoornderweg. Head southwest on Laan van Texel, then turn left onto Hoornderweg. The museum will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus timings as they may vary, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, Texel is a bike-friendly island with many dedicated bike paths. You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops available in Texel. Follow the bike paths towards Den Burg, and specifically head towards Hoornderweg. The museum is approximately 3 km from the center of Den Burg, making it an enjoyable ride. Look for signs directing you to the museum as you approach the area.
