    From The Hague Central Station, take the Intercity train towards Leiden. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 1 or 3 towards 'Leiden, Kruitschip'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Kruitschip' stop. The Van der Werf Park is just a 2-minute walk from the bus stop; head northeast on Kruitschip street until you reach the park.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the numerous rental shops in The Hague. From the city center, head towards the east on the Korte Voorhout and follow the signs for the N44 highway towards Leiden. The cycling route takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon entering Leiden, continue straight until you reach Kruitschip. Van der Werf Park will be on your right.
