If you are starting from Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Stationsplein. Turn right onto Vredenburg, a large square. Continue straight until you reach the end of the square and then turn left onto Oudegracht, the main canal that runs through Utrecht. Walk along Oudegracht, enjoying the beautiful views. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Nieuwegracht. Turn right onto Nieuwegracht, and you will see the canal on your left.

From Dom Tower, head down towards the Domstraat and turn right at the intersection with the Hoog Catharijne shopping center. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Oudegracht. Turn left onto Oudegracht and walk until you reach the junction with Nieuwegracht. Turn right onto Nieuwegracht, where you can enjoy the scenic views of the canal.

If you are in a different part of Utrecht, you can take a bus or tram to the nearest stop to Nieuwegracht. Use the OV-chipkaart system to check routes. For example, take tram line 2 or 3 from your location to the 'Janskerkhof' stop. From there, head towards the Dom Tower, and then navigate as mentioned in the walking directions above.
