If you are driving, start by heading to Tahoe Blvd in New Washoe City. From South Lake Tahoe, take US-50 E towards Stateline, then merge onto NV-28 N towards Kings Beach. Continue on NV-28 N until you reach Tahoe Blvd, where you will see signs directing you to Memorial Point Scenic Overlook. The overlook is located approximately 10 miles from the intersection of NV-28 and Tahoe Blvd. Look for a designated parking area on the right side of the road. Parking is free, but it can fill up quickly during peak times.

For those using public transportation, take the local bus service (Tahoe Transportation District) from various locations in Lake Tahoe to the Kings Beach area. You will want to get off at the stop closest to NV-28. From there, it will be about a 1.5-mile walk to the Memorial Point Scenic Overlook along Tahoe Blvd. Note that the bus schedule may vary, so check the Tahoe Transportation District's website for the latest schedule and route information. Be prepared for a scenic walk as you make your way to the overlook.
