From the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center, head southwest on NV-159 W for about 11 miles. Look for the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness trailhead, which will be on your right. There is a small parking area available, but it can fill up quickly during peak hours. Ensure you arrive early if you want a spot.

Public Transportation and Hiking
Take the RTC Public Bus Route 201 from the Las Vegas Strip to the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, you will need to either hike or take a taxi to the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness trailhead, which is approximately 2 miles away. Be prepared for a moderate hike or arrange a rideshare service if available.
