    Walking

    If you're starting from downtown Reno, head towards the Truckee River. From the Reno Arch, walk east on Virginia Street until you reach the river. Turn left at the river and follow the path along the water. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of W 1st St and N Arlington Ave. The Truckee River Whitewater Park will be on your right, just before the bridge.

    Rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in downtown Reno. Start on Virginia Street heading east. Once you reach the river, take the bike path along the Truckee River. Follow the path until you reach W 1st St. As you approach the intersection with N Arlington Ave, you will see the entrance to Truckee River Whitewater Park on your right.

    Check the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus schedule for routes heading to the Riverwalk District. Take bus route 16 or 22 from a nearby stop in Reno.
