From Midtown Reno, head west on W 4th St toward S Virginia St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Arlington Ave. Turn left onto N Arlington Ave and continue for another 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Wilbur D. May Arboretum on your right at 1595 N Sierra St. The total walking distance is approximately 0.8 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus. From Midtown Reno, walk to the nearest bus stop on S Virginia St at W 4th St. Board the RTC Route 4 bus heading north toward the University of Nevada, Reno. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at N Sierra St & E 15th St. From there, walk south for just a few minutes, and you will reach the Wilbur D. May Arboretum. A single ride fare is $2.00, and you can purchase tickets at the bus stop or on the bus.
