If you are driving from the Ruby Mountains, start by heading south on NV-229/SR-229. Continue on NV-229 until you reach I-80. Merge onto I-80 E toward Elko. After approximately 50 miles, take exit 303 for Elko. Merge onto Idaho St and continue straight. Turn left onto Railroad St. The Western Folklife Center will be on your right at 501 Railroad St, Elko, NV 89801.
