Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Hienghène, head east on the main road (Route de Hienghène) towards the coast. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At this fork, take the left path, which will lead you towards the waterfront. Keep walking straight until you come to the Ouaième Ferry terminal, located at RPN3. The ferry terminal will be directly in front of you, and you can see the ferry service area from a distance.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central square in Hienghène. Cycle east along Route de Hienghène, keeping to the right side of the road for safety. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at a fork in the road. Take the left path leading towards the waterfront. Continue cycling straight until you reach Ouaième Ferry at RPN3, which should be visible as you approach.

  • Public Transport

    Although there may not be dedicated public transport directly to Ouaième Ferry, you can use local bus services from Hienghène that head towards coastal areas. Ask the bus driver or locals for stops near the ferry terminal. Once you reach a stop close to the waterfront, disembark and walk approximately 500 meters towards the ferry terminal at RPN3, following the coastal path.
