From Nashua, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) bus #1 towards Lowell. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Nashua Transit Center.' Transfer to the LRTA bus #2 towards the Pheasant Lane Mall. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Pheasant Lane Mall' stop. From there, you will need to walk to the nearby 'Pheasant Lane Mall' bus stop and catch the MBTA bus #67 towards Concord. This bus will take you directly to Concord. Once you arrive at Concord, you will need to transfer to a local shuttle or taxi to reach the Ralph Waldo Emerson House located at 28 Cambridge Tpke, which is about 10 minutes away by car.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Nashua. Start from the Nashua River Rail Trail and head north towards the town of Merrimack. Follow the rail trail until you reach the intersection with Daniel Webster Highway (NH-3A). Take a left onto NH-3A and continue riding north until you reach the intersection with US-3. Turn right onto US-3 and follow the signs for Concord. The ride will take you approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Concord, navigate towards Cambridge Turnpike where the Ralph Waldo Emerson House is located. The house is about a 10-minute ride from the center of Concord.

Walking from Nashua to the Ralph Waldo Emerson House is quite a trek, but if you're up for it, here's how you can do it. Start at the Nashua Public Library on Main Street and head north towards the Nashua River. Follow the Riverwalk Trail until you reach the Merrimack River. Cross over the bridge to Merrimack and continue along the riverbank. You'll need to navigate through local streets towards the north end of Merrimack, eventually reaching the intersection of NH-3. From there, you can follow NH-3 north toward Concord. This will be a lengthy walk of approximately 20 miles and could take around 6 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water!
