If you are driving to Liberty State Park, start by getting onto the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) in your vicinity. Follow the signs for I-78 East towards Jersey City. After a few miles, take exit 14C for the Holland Tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, continue straight onto Hudson Street, then turn right onto Montgomery Street. Follow Montgomery Street until it ends and turns into Liberty State Park Drive, which will take you directly to the park. There is free parking available at Liberty State Park.

Public Transportation - NJ Transit Train

To reach Liberty State Park via NJ Transit, find the nearest NJ Transit train station and purchase a ticket to the Jersey City station. Board a train on the North Jersey Coast Line or the Raritan Valley Line. Once you arrive at the Jersey City station, exit the train and walk to the light rail station nearby.
