If you are starting from the Cape May City Center, head south on Ocean Street towards the beach. Once you reach Beach Avenue, turn left and walk along the coast. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Sunset Boulevard (approximately 0.5 miles). Turn right onto Sunset Boulevard and follow it for about 1 mile. This will lead you to the entrance of Cape May Point State Park. Once inside the park, continue along the paths until you see signs directing you to Fort Miles Battery 223, which is located nearby.
