Car
If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto Route 10 East from your current location in the Skylands Region. Continue on Route 10 East for approximately 4 miles, then merge onto NJ-287 North. Follow NJ-287 North for about 7 miles, then take exit 39B for Route 10 West toward Denville. Stay on Route 10 West for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Reservoir Avenue. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will find Hedden Park at 124 Reservoir Ave, Randolph, NJ 07869. There is no parking fee at the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take NJ Transit’s Morris & Essex Line train from your nearest station in the Skylands Region to Denville Station. The train ride typically takes about 30-45 minutes. From Denville Station, you can catch the Morris County Transit bus (Morris County Route 19) heading towards Randolph. The bus will take you close to Hedden Park, but be sure to check the current bus schedule for specific times. There may be a small fare for the bus, typically around $1.50-$2.00.
