From the center of Carlsbad, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 5th St and Main St. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Carlsbad Senior Center. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Carlsbad Airport terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, transfer to the bus that connects to the Greyhound station. From there, you will need to take another bus that heads towards San Diego. This journey will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on connections. Once you reach San Diego, you can take a local bus (Route 35) towards Point Loma, which will drop you off near 4815 Narragansett Ave.

Bicycle Rental
If you're up for an adventure, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Carlsbad. Start your ride by heading towards the Carlsbad Caverns, and then follow the bike route along the scenic pathways leading to the outskirts of town. This journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the outskirts, follow the signs towards Route 62, which will lead you towards San Diego. The ride will be around 30 miles, so be prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach San Diego, navigate towards Point Loma, making sure to use bike lanes where available. Finally, arrive at 4815 Narragansett Ave.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Carlsbad at the park on Main St. Walk south towards 2nd St, then turn left onto 2nd St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Lake St, where you’ll turn right. Follow Lake St until it merges into Route 62. This walk will take you approximately 1.5 hours to reach the outskirts of town. Once you are on Route 62, you can continue heading towards San Diego, which will require following the pedestrian pathways or sidewalks leading to the busier areas. Once in San Diego, make your way to Point Loma, where 4815 Narragansett Ave is located.
