Walking
If you are starting from the Las Cruces downtown area, head east on W Picacho Ave toward S Main St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will come to a fork in the road; take the right onto E University Ave. Walk straight for approximately 0.6 miles. The NMSU Art Museum will be on your right at 1308 E University Ave.

You can take the RoadRUNNER Transit bus service. Board the bus at any of the stops downtown. Make sure to catch the #1 or #3 route heading toward NMSU. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the stop near E University Ave. From there, walk east along E University Ave for about 0.2 miles. The NMSU Art Museum will be at 1308 E University Ave on your right.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental service. Start from the downtown area and head east on W Picacho Ave. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto S Main St and continue for 0.3 miles.
