    Start by heading to the nearest bus stop in Los Alamos, which is located at 15th Street and Central Avenue. From there, take the NM Park & Ride bus towards Santa Fe. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Once on the bus, remain on until you reach the Santa Fe Depot. This journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Santa Fe Depot, transfer to the 'Chimayo Shuttle' bus service. The shuttle will take you directly to Chimayo. You will disembark at the stop near Santuario de Chimayo, which is about a 10-minute walk from the shuttle drop-off point.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Los Alamos. Start your journey by heading south on Central Avenue towards NM-502. Follow NM-502 as it turns into NM-84 towards Chimayo. The ride is approximately 16 miles and can take about 1.5 hours, depending on your riding speed. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and be cautious of traffic, especially on NM-84. Once you arrive in Chimayo, look for signs directing you to Santuario de Chimayo, which is located at 15 Santuario Dr.
