Car
From Sandia Peak Tramway, exit the tram area and get onto NM-536 S. Continue on NM-536 S for about 2 miles. At the end of NM-536 S, turn left onto NM-180 E. Follow NM-180 E for about 1 mile, then merge onto Eubank Blvd NE. Continue on Eubank Blvd NE for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Indian School Rd NE. Turn right onto Indian School Rd NE and continue for about 1 mile. The Sandia Foothills Open Space will be on your left, just after you pass through the intersection with Juan Tabo Blvd NE. There is no entry fee for the open space.

To reach Sandia Foothills Open Space via public transportation, start at the Sandia Peak Tramway and take the ABQ Ride bus #2 or #66 from the nearest bus stop. Disembark at the Eubank Blvd & Indian School Rd NE stop. From there, you will walk about 0.5 miles north on Eubank Blvd NE, then east on Indian School Rd NE until you reach the Sandia Foothills Open Space, which will be on your left. Make sure to check the ABQ Ride schedule for the latest bus times and connections. The bus fare is $1.00.
