Getting There

  • Car

    From the Santa Fe National Forest visitor center or any location within the forest, head northeast on NM-285 N towards NM-592. After approximately 8 miles, take the exit for NM-503 toward Nambe Falls. Drive for about 5 miles on NM-503 which will lead you to Nambe Falls Dam. Follow the signs for Nambe Falls, and park in the designated parking area. Note that there is a small parking fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Nambe Falls using public transportation, take the NM Rail Runner Express from Santa Fe to the Nambe stop. From there, you can either catch a local taxi or rideshare service to Nambe Falls Dam, which is approximately 5 miles away. Ensure you check the schedule for the Rail Runner as it may not run frequently. Be prepared for additional costs for the taxi or rideshare service.
