    Car

    If you are traveling by car in Shiprock, start by heading towards the intersection of NM-491 and NM-64. From there, drive south on NM-491 for about 2 miles. You will see signs for Ship Rock; follow them. As you approach, you will see Tse Bitai (Ship Rock) ahead on your right. There is no entrance fee to view the rock from the road.

    Public Transportation

    If you are relying on public transportation, take the local bus (check local schedules for routes and times) to the nearest stop on NM-491. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile south along NM-491 to reach the viewpoint of Ship Rock. Please be aware that public transportation options may be limited, so plan accordingly.
