From any location in Taos, head to the nearest bus stop for the Taos Express, which operates between Taos and surrounding areas. Board the bus heading towards Velarde. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Velarde, disembark at the stop closest to NM-68. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles south along NM-68, and you will reach Black Mesa Winery and Cidery at 1502 NM-68.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Taos. Start from the Taos Plaza and head north on Paseo del Pueblo Norte (NM-68). Continue on this road for about 12 miles.
