Walking
If you are starting from the Albany City Hall, exit the building and head south on Eagle Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with State Street. Cross State Street and continue straight onto Lodge Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with Washington Avenue. Turn right onto Washington Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Washington Park on your left. Once you enter the park, follow the path that leads towards the lake. The Washington Park Lake House will be on your left.

Public Transit
From the Albany bus terminal, take Bus 10 (Washington Avenue) heading towards the University at Albany. Get off at the Washington Park stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the park entrance, which is directly in front of you. Once inside, walk towards the lake following the paths. The Washington Park Lake House will be located on your left side as you approach the water.

Biking
If you are near the Albany Riverfront Park, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing station. Head north along the Hudson River Greenway until you reach the intersection with Madison Avenue. Turn left onto Madison Avenue and continue until you reach the park entrance on your right. Once inside the park, bike towards the lake, and the Washington Park Lake House will be on your left.
