Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Albany Visitor Center located at 25 Quackenbush Square, head south on Quackenbush Street towards Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will see the New York State Capitol ahead. Continue walking straight until you reach State Street, then turn right. West Capitol Park will be immediately on your left, located at State 85 and S Swan St.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Albany Train Station, catch the CDTA bus #12, #18, or #19 towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at State Street and Swan Street, which is a short walk from West Capitol Park. After disembarking, head west on State Street and turn left onto S Swan Street. West Capitol Park will be on your right.

From Albany City Hall at 24 Eagle Street, walk south on Eagle Street. At the intersection with State Street, turn left and head east.
