    If you're driving from the city of Beacon, NY, get onto I-84 E from Beacon and follow signs for New York City. Take exit 11 for NY-9D toward Cold Spring. Continue on NY-9D for about 7 miles. You'll arrive at Hudson Highlands State Park, located at 3260 NY-9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516. There is free parking available at the park entrance.

    For those using public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from Grand Central Terminal in New York City to the Cold Spring station. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Cold Spring station, you can either walk (about 1.5 miles) or take a taxi/Uber to Hudson Highlands State Park at 3260 NY-9D. The walk will take you about 30-40 minutes, following the scenic Main Street, then turning onto NY-9D.
