If you are in the heart of Lake Placid, head north on Main Street towards the intersection with Saranac Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Olympic Center on your left. From there, take a right onto Olympic Drive and follow it as it curves to the left. You will see signs for Mount Van Hoevenberg. Continue walking for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic Bobsled Run.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Lake Placid Public Library located at 2233 Main St. Ride north on Main Street until you reach Saranac Avenue. Turn right on Saranac Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Olympic Drive. Turn left onto Olympic Drive and pedal straight for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for the signs leading to Mount Van Hoevenberg, and you will find the Olympic Bobsled Run on your right.

Take the free shuttle service (during summer months) or check for local bus schedules that head towards the Olympic sites. Look for a bus heading to the Olympic Sports Complex.
