If you're starting your journey from New York City, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from Penn Station to Riverhead station. The ride will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Riverhead station, exit and walk to the bus stop located directly outside the station. Take the Suffolk County Transit bus route S92 towards the Riverhead Terminal. Get off at the stop at E Main St and Peconic Ave. From there, itâs a short walk to Long Island Aquarium, located at 431 E Main St. Follow E Main St towards the east, and you will see the aquarium on your left.
