Travel Guide to Jane's Carousel

Getting There

• Subway

  If you're starting from Manhattan, head to any subway station and take the A or C train from stations like 42nd Street-Port Authority or 59th Street-Columbus Circle, headed toward Brooklyn. Get off at High Street-Brooklyn Bridge station. Once you exit the station, head towards the Brooklyn Bridge entrance and then walk down the steps to the right, which will lead you to the street level. From there, walk towards the east on Old Fulton Street until you reach the waterfront, and then turn left on the promenade. Continue walking until you see Jane’s Carousel at 1 Old Dock St.

• Ferry

  For a scenic route, take the NYC Ferry from Manhattan. Head to the East River Ferry terminal located at Wall Street/Pier 11. Board the ferry towards DUMBO. Enjoy the views as you cross the river. Once you arrive at the DUMBO stop, disembark and walk east towards the waterfront area. Walk along the promenade, and you will find Jane’s Carousel at 1 Old Dock St.

• Walking

  If you are already in DUMBO, simply explore the area on foot. From the DUMBO area, make your way towards the waterfront. Find the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, and walk along the promenade. Jane’s Carousel is located at 1 Old Dock St, right next to the beautiful waterfront views.

• Bus

  You can also take the B61 bus from various locations in Brooklyn. Check your nearest bus stop for the B61 line and board the bus towards Downtown Brooklyn. Get off at the stop near the Manhattan Bridge, and walk towards the waterfront. Continue walking to find Jane’s Carousel at 1 Old Dock St.
