  • Bus

    From White Plains, head to the White Plains Bus Terminal located at 11 Ferris Ave, White Plains, NY 10601. Inside the terminal, look for the bus service to the Bronx. Take the Bx12 bus towards Pelham Bay Park. The bus will take you directly to the Bronx. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop for Southern Blvd and 193rd St. From there, walk north on Southern Blvd for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the New York Botanical Garden at 2900 Southern Blvd.

    Make your way to the White Plains Metro-North train station located at 1 Railroad Ave, White Plains, NY 10601. Board a train on the Harlem Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Fordham station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the Bx12 bus towards Pelham Bay Park, and get off at Southern Blvd and 193rd St. Walk north on Southern Blvd for about 10 minutes to arrive at the New York Botanical Garden.

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of White Plains at the White Plains Plaza. Head east on Main St towards the Bronx River Parkway. Continue walking for about 2 miles until you reach the Bronx River Parkway. Cross over to the Bronx via E 233rd St. Follow Southern Blvd northwards for about 1 mile, and you will reach the New York Botanical Garden at 2900 Southern Blvd.
