Metro
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Harlem-125th Street station. Transfer to the 4, 5, or 6 subway line towards Brooklyn. Ride until you reach the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. From there, take the 4 or 5 train to the Grand Central station. Finally, transfer to the 6 train towards Brooklyn and get off at the Essex Street station. Exit the station and walk south on Essex Street for about 5 minutes until you reach 88 Essex Street.

Bus
From Yonkers, take the Bee-Line Bus #1 or #2 towards the Bronx. Get off at the last stop in the Bronx and transfer to the Bx6 bus. Ride the Bx6 towards the Manhattan Bridge. Once you reach the Manhattan Bridge, transfer to the B39 bus and continue to Essex Street. Get off at Essex Street and walk a few blocks south until you reach 88 Essex Street.

If you're in central Yonkers, start at the Yonkers Waterfront. Head east on Warburton Avenue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and walk north until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North station. From there, take the Metro North train towards Grand Central Terminal. Follow the previous metro instructions to get to Essex Market at 88 Essex Street.
