    From downtown Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Transit Center located at 1 Alexander St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the NJ Transit bus route 166 towards Hackensack. The bus will take you across the George Washington Bridge. Get off at the stop on Green Brook Rd, Tenafly, NJ. From the bus stop, walk along Green Brook Rd for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Green Brook Nature Sanctuary.

    Start your journey at the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1 Larkin Plaza, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Metro-North train on the Hudson Line towards Poughkeepsie and get off at the Tarrytown station. From Tarrytown, transfer to the NJ Transit bus route 167 towards Tenafly. Get off at the Green Brook Rd stop in Tenafly. Walk for approximately 5 minutes down Green Brook Rd to reach the sanctuary.
