From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. Transfer to the A or C subway line at 125th Street Station, heading toward Downtown. Get off at the Jay St-MetroTech Station. From there, transfer to the R subway line towards Bay Ridge-95th Street. Get off at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station. Once you exit the subway, walk east on Surf Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the New York Aquarium at 602 Surf Ave.

From Yonkers, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus System, specifically for the BxM4C Express bus heading to Manhattan. Ride the bus until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From the terminal, transfer to the subway. Take the A or C line towards Brooklyn, and get off at the Jay St-MetroTech Station. Then, switch to the R subway line towards Bay Ridge-95th Street. Get off at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station. Walk east on Surf Avenue for about 10 minutes to reach the New York Aquarium at 602 Surf Ave.
