Bus
From Auckland's Central Business District (CBD), head to the nearest bus stop at Victoria Street West, near the Sky Tower. Board the bus number 81 (heading towards Northcote) or 4 (heading towards Birkenhead). The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Northcote Intermediate School' stop. From there, walk towards Kauri Glen Road. It's about a 15-minute walk. Follow Kauri Glen Road until you reach the entrance of the Kauri Glen Walkway.

Train and Bus
Take the train from Britomart Station in the CBD to Glenfield Station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. After arriving at Glenfield Station, exit and head to the bus stop on Glenfield Road. Board bus number 925 heading towards Northcote. Get off at the 'Kauri Glen Road' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes along Kauri Glen Road to reach the Kauri Glen Walkway entrance.

If you're staying in the Northcote area, you can walk to Kauri Glen Walkway. Start at Northcote Shopping Centre and head west along Queen Street. After about 15 minutes, turn left onto Kauri Glen Road. Continue walking straight for about 10 more minutes until you reach the entrance to the walkway.
