Getting There

  • Bus

    If you are starting from Auckland's Central Business District (CBD), make your way to the Britomart Transport Centre. From there, take the bus number 1 or 2 heading to Milford. The bus departs regularly, approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop on Kitchener Road near the intersection with Shakespeare Road. From the bus stop, walk down Shakespeare Road towards the coast, and turn left onto Sylvan Park Avenue. The entrance to Sylvan Park will be on your right.

  • Train and Bus

    Start your journey by taking a train from the Auckland Britomart station to Takapuna Station. Once you get off at Takapuna, walk to the bus stop on Lake Road and catch a bus heading towards Milford. Take the bus until you reach the stop on Kitchener Road near Shakespeare Road. From there, walk down Shakespeare Road towards the coast, and turn left onto Sylvan Park Avenue. Sylvan Park will be on your right.
