Car
If you are driving from Tauranga, take State Highway 2 towards Auckland. After about 80 km, take the exit toward State Highway 1/Auckland. Continue on SH1 for approximately 15 km, then take the exit for State Highway 20 towards Manukau City. Follow the signs for Pakuranga and take the Pakuranga Highway exit. Once on Pakuranga Highway, continue until you reach Bells Road. Turn left onto Bells Road, and you will find Howick Historical Village within Lloyd Elsmore Park on your right. There is free parking available at the park.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Tauranga to Auckland. Once in Auckland, transfer to the bus service that goes to Pakuranga. You can catch the bus from the Auckland Central Bus Station. Look for buses headed towards Pakuranga, such as the 70 or 72 routes. Once you arrive in Pakuranga, disembark at the Pakuranga Plaza stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Howick Historical Village. Head south on Pakuranga Highway, turn left onto Bells Road, and you will find the village entrance within Lloyd Elsmore Park.
