Car
If you are driving to the Hooker Valley Track, start from the Mount Cook Village. Head south on State Highway 80 (SH80) from the village. After approximately 5 km, you will find the Hooker Valley Track car park on your left. The car park is well marked and has ample space for vehicles. Note that parking is free, and from the car park, the track begins.

For those using public transportation, take a bus service from Christchurch or Queenstown to Mount Cook Village. Once you arrive at the Mount Cook Village, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Hooker Valley Track car park.
