From the centre of Paihia, head southwest on Marsden Road towards the Paihia Wharf. Continue on Marsden Road until you reach the intersection with Bayview Road. Turn left onto Bayview Road and follow it until you reach the intersection with Kerikeri Road. Turn right onto Kerikeri Road and continue walking for about 20 minutes. You will pass a few shops and cafes along the way. The St James Anglican Church will be on your left at 209 Kerikeri Road.

From Paihia, you can take the local bus service that operates between Paihia and Kerikeri. Head to the nearest bus stop on Marsden Road, which is close to the Paihia Wharf. Board the bus heading towards Kerikeri. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to 209 Kerikeri Road. From the bus stop, it will be a short 5-minute walk to the church, which will be on your left.
