Continue on Victoria Street and take a left onto Ranolf Street. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Te Ngae Road. Cross over to the other side of Te Ngae Road and follow the signs for Whakarewarewa. You will enter the Whakarewarewa area where the Wairewarewa Mudpools Viewing Area is located. Keep walking until you see the signs directing you to the mudpools.

    From the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre, catch the local bus service that heads towards Whakarewarewa. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule at the i-SITE for the next departure.
